We don’t often dismiss a song so soon after a preview here at Euro Song Nation, but this entry is just so dated but with modern themes. San Marino seem to have sent a song that will certainly secure a place in the cheesey Eurovision hall of fame. I don’t feel this song will advance past the semi finals but you never know!.
They will air a special show tonight including an interview with Valentina Monetta who will represent San Marino at this years semi finals in Baku.
A webcast will be availibale on the SMTV website.
Engelbert Humperdinck was announced as the act to represent the United Kingdom earlier this month.
Engelbert Humperdinck is currently recording the video for his entry, @bbceurovision earlier released this teaser picture on twitter.
It is yet to be decided if the song will be performed in Italian or English, listen to the song below.
Portugal held It’s grand final last night, we saw 12 acts battle it out for the right to represent their country.
The show was buzzing with musical delight, including a tribute to some of the countries previous Eurovision songs.
Voting got underway and it soon became clear that Filipa Sousa (song 12) was the favourite choice with both the juries and the Portuguese public.
So Filipa Sousa will off to the Semi Final of the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest.
Željko Joksimović is no stranger to Eurovision, he has been involved throughout the 2000’s, even finishing in second place in 2004.
