Sweden Melodifestivalen 2012 Final

The biggest national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest takes place this evening. Sweden will be hosting the 2012 national final which will see 1 lucky act represent them in this years contest in Baku.

Melodifestivalen is a big event  in Sweden, in fact we have already had 3 semi finals and a wild card semi 
final, but we still have 10 acts to choose from. The selection is like a mini Eurovision in itself, voting it’s comprised of a 50/50 televoting and jury vote. The international jury will consist of the following countries: Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegovina, United Kingdom, Estonia, France, Cyprus, Ireland, Malta, Norway, Germany and Ukraine.

The ten songs that qualify for the final are:

  1. Shout It Out – David Lindgren
  2. Jag Reser Mig Igen – Thorsten Flinck & Revolutionsorkestern
  3. Mystery – Dead by April
  4. Why Start A Fire – Lisa Miskovsky
  5. Baby Doll – Top Cats
  6. Euphoria – Loreen
  7. Soldiers – Ulrik Munther
  8. Mirakel – Björn Ranelid feat. Sara Li
  9. Why Am I Crying – Molly Sandén
  10. Amazing – Danny Saucedo
